I used Inspiration Digital Diagram software to create notes in graphic organizer format about the Parts of a Story. It was much easier to use than I had expected, and presented my notes in a simple and appealing way. Unlike PowerPoint, I can show all of my notes all at once. With a topic like Parts of a Story, all of the ideas are linked, and I could show this with Inspiration. The digital diagram can also be interactive - leaving notes attached to one part to open up and hide once again. I certainly will use this software in my classroom! I was pleasantly surprised with how easy and fast it can be once you get the hang of it.
